Methodology. 27 endpoint prices pulled 2026-04-25 from fal.ai, bfl.ai, ai.google.dev, platform.openai.com, x.ai, platform.stability.ai, wavespeed.ai, and kie.ai. Every model uses its latest released version — Nano Banana 2 (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, not the 2.5-era predecessor), Seedream 5 Lite (not Seedream 4.5 or earlier), FLUX.2 (not 1.x), Imagen 4 family (not Imagen 3), Ideogram V3 (not 2), GPT Image 1.5 (not GPT Image 1). Per-image rates assume default 1024×1024 resolution unless noted; models billed per megapixel (Flux 2 Pro/Dev, Krea, HiDream) are converted to a 1MP base. Prices change frequently — these are point-in-time snapshots, always verify with the vendor before committing. Cheapest is not best. A $0.003 Schnell render and a $0.134 Nano Banana Pro render are not the same image; use the capability filter to narrow the field, then pick on quality.
